Manipal Dubai: “Doomed”

No further explanation is required. It is now clear that Manipal University Dubai Campus is not recognized either by Ministry of HRD, Government of India and UGC nor by Ministry of Higher Education, UAE.

The Indian Degrees offered are not valid and all those who received it are “fake” Degrees. Come on….. customers of Manipal University Dubai Campus – Wake up!. It is time for the students and parents to decide what to do next? or it will be too late.UGC

Mission: Change the World

I dream of a world that is perfect.  But I realize that it is impossible.  At the least a World that is free of hatred and Love for Truth.  Everything is about your choice in life.  But again, do everybody get the opportunity to choose or make a choice without any force.

Today, after One year I am in the journey of creating a huge impact across the world.  How to begin, whom to Thank for it. I would not have tried anything that is now possible to me. When so much worthwhile can be done in life, I was wasting my career in Manipal University. For the first time in my life, I regretted why did I ever made a choice to work there so long after being treated in a cruel and inhuman manner.

I am surprised to know, how far I can go when it comes to fighting against injustice and human rights. When there is so much beauty in this world waiting to enjoy and cherish why the mind still clings to misery?  Yes, I have decided to reach the sky and find greater heights in life than waiting for justice. Though I will seek my own justice when time comes in a great way. I am not finished with getting my compensation. It took almost one year for Dubai Court to finalize and give orders to issue compensation in the case.  I will be happy if the judgment punishes the criminals than providing just money for me.  In India, it may take years together but I do hope that the case will create a huge impact and pressurize the government to act upon the University.

I know very well that justice is not served in time and I challenge openly to Manipal University try to stop me from bringing in the disaster. Change is inevitable for everyone and its my turn to show what I can do? I will teach each one of them an unforgettable lesson in life.  I gave enough time for the management to be sensible and act accordingly after realizing the mistake.  But some people refuse to learn anything in life.  See what happened now High Court of Karnataka accepted my Writ Petition and the Case is now pending for hearing.  They want more trouble and I will give them.  How? Somethings have to be kept secret……..wait for it.

Second Victory in the Fight against Corruption: Final Judgment - Translation of Dubai Court Order!

Remembering the Year 2012: Recap – Jan.31

Feb. 24: The Open Letter

To All Concern People…..

I was working with Manipal University, Dubai Campus as a Senior Lecturer from August 2008 and my employer renewed my visa for three years in October 2011 till October 2014.

But suddenly, without giving any valid reason i was asked to leave the institution on January 31, 2012. I was called while doing my examination invigilation duty and was given a letter (here under given) and told not to come for work from February 2012 (the very next day) with immediate effect. Even after trying to settle the issue amicably with the management they were not ready to listen and they Challenged me to seek Legal course of action. So, I went to file a complaint in the labour department but i was told to complain in the TECOM since my visa is a Dubai Immigration Free Zone Visa. I did registered a complaint in TECOM Voice it through online and they replied me back asking to fill the Labour dispute form and submit it along with the documents to Compliance & Assurance section in the Knowledge Village Office and then to take up the case in Dubai court. When i did that, Tecom authorities called me on Feb.12 in their Office to verify and settle the problem with the management. Since they replied to TECOM authorities for my complaint, a false statement of absconding case then they retracted back in person during arbitration meeting. This is not only gross violation of human rights but a clear criminal intention to threaten me and cancel my visa immediately. As they are holding my passport and refusing to return it even after my complaint to Indian Embassy & Consulate and also after TECOM authorities advice and instructions that holding employees passport is illegal as per UAE law. Now, the matter was forwarded to Dubai Court by TECOM and they have agreed to surrender my passport in the Court. I am fighting a case against Manipal University in the Labour Division of Dubai Court for arbitrary dismissal by the employer.

This is not just a Case of my job, i was targeted by some one in the department as a personal vengeance. I was questioning about the moral values and ethics in following the rules & regulations of KHDA & UGC. If you can cross-check, KHDA recently instructed Manipal to close down their Fashion Department course for violation of rules. In the same manner, in the Department of Media & Communication also high level of corrupt practices and degrading standards of education are being followed. Recently, six months before entire course structure was changed and not only that as per UGC requirements minimum eligibility requirement to hold a teaching position in colleges/universities are violated. Can you believe it? Except me who is fully qualified & eligible to hold the Asst. Professor all the other four faculty members in the department are not even eligible to hold the post.

Those who have not studied any media related courses are allowed to teach as Adjunct Faculties (part-time faculties) when full time faculties are denied the right to teach their course subjects. Lab assistant is given course paper to teach. And to the height of all corruption, students who have not attended even a single class are allowed to write examinations. I have every other proof and documents in this regard. Hence, i think, my official email was blocked immediately and I was escorted by the security and asked to wait when I went to enter my cabin after the incident, then I was told to hand over my cabin keys before leaving the campus on the same day within one hour in an inhuman manner. The Chair person (Head of the Department) who is the junior most to all of us has recommended to the Director that my services are not required from next semester. When i exposed everything to the Management, they are still reluctant to take any serious action and correct all the mal-practices and provide quality education to the students. All the students in my department are suffering due to lack of qualified faculties and infrastructure in terms of labs & software. Can anyone advice the management to appoint a proper qualified and eligible candidate to head the department?

The entire system of education itself is at stake. If the authorities conduct a thorough enquiry and check the records in the department that itself will prove how much corruption has taken place. Students who are not living in this country, register for exam from outside and during exam they come and appear to get the degree. This is high level of crime in the name of Education. I am going to seek justice from every other forum and also report this matter to His Highness President and Vice-President (Rulers) of this country. Let me see what they can do?

As, I am planning to file a case in India also against the arbitrary decision on termination of my employment without any valid reason since Manipal University is a branch campus and the degrees offered by them are recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission) & Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Since, i am approaching the court for legal redressal against the corrupt & illegal practices of the management, i request every individual to take note of what happens in this case and if possible help me out in the process to set right our Education system.

I am deeply hurt and saddened by the outrageous and humiliating attitude of the management in dealing with me and also treating me like a criminal by asking me not to come for work from the next day and asking me to hand over the cabin keys and escorting me with the security when i went to enter my cabin.  Though i have done nothing wrong and did my service to the institution with utmost care and honesty, this is how i get treated.  When i have to complete my semester examination duty and internal paper correction for the subjects i taught in the last semester, what is the need for someone to take such an extreme step and kick me out? Yes, someone gets the pleasure. They are least bothered about the quality and procedure in the education system. That’s Why i am going to fight against all odds?

I may file a case in the Supreme Court in India to cancel the affiliation of the University for violating the rules and regulations in employment recruitment and practicing degrading moral standards in higher education. When Education is treated as a Corporate Business and When Profit alone is the motive, What more can be expected from these people? Degrees are being Sold in the name of Education. As rightly said by the previous Chair, “Please don’t take it too personal, we all are just sales man selling Degrees in Manipal Global Business Pvt. Ltd.” Now, i realize those absolute TRUE words but it is too late for me ….

Some say, i have to move on in my life and fighting against corrupt people is like committing professional suicide.

But it is these words, ‎”You see the people-they are miserable because they have compromised on every point, and they cannot forgive themselves because they have compromised. They know that they could have dared, but they proved cowards. In their own eyes they have fallen, they have lost self-respect.    That´s what compromise does.” which keeps me on in this fight against Corruption.

I always doubt on whether we can change the world. If you can change one person’s attitude then I think ‘Yes’ it is possible to change everything. I thought who is going to read my blog but to my surprise, many have started following and keep track of what is written here by me. I was so surprised and it gave me a great feeling when I saw that because of my writing pointing out his mistake he changed his profile online. When nobody supported or gave a damn about anything, I see one thing very clear. Real human beings realize the mistakes and try to change it. Others who refuse to do so finds their own reasoning.  I am on a mission to change the world for everyone to live a dignified life.

“An academic fraud”

The Director of Manipal University Dubai Campus has a track record from the past and it is no wonder why I was not able to get justification from his act. Let me play the game now. What you did to others is coming back to you Mr. “Academic Fraud”?

Two NKU professors resign

Another fired; investigation uncovers research misconduct

By Kristina Goetz
The Cincinnati Enquirer

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS - Two Northern Kentucky University business school professors resigned Tuesday and a third was fired after an 18-month investigation into allegations of research misconduct.

NKU’s board of regents reviewed a three-ring binder of findings that said papers published by five faculty members from 1995 to 2001 were either plagiarized, fabricated, falsified or involved serious deviations from accepted research practices.

As a result, finance professors Anju and Balasubramani Ramjee, who are married, gave their resignations. Economics professor Richard Snyder was fired. And economics professor Louis Noyd’s intention to retire at the end of the academic year was made public. A fifth person involved in the investigation, Shailendra Verma, former chairman of the finance department, resigned in February.

On campus, students expressed shock after hearing the news. Justin Braxton-Brown, a 23-year-old in the MBA program, was a student of Balasubramani Ramjee and Noyd.

“It does surprise me a little,” the Florence native said. “When I had them as teachers, they were really good and seemed to be on top of it. It’s obviously going to have a negative backlash on the school, but it will be more local. I don’t think it will deter students from coming here. It will be more of a head-shaking.”

NKU president James Votruba reassured faculty and the community by saying the findings would have minimal impact on the growing university of more than 13,700 students. The review process, he said, worked as it was designed.

“The action taken today should reassure the public that the university and its board of regents are committed to taking whatever steps necessary to ensure our continued public trust,” he said.

Highlights from the findings show that 12 papers duplicated material. Evidence showed an entire paper being recycled. Three were significantly plagiarized from authors not affiliated with NKU. And others listed the names of NKU professors as authors though they didn’t participate in the research.

The findings clearly delineate varying degrees of responsibility for each professor, calling the research record of Verma and the Ramjees “an academic fraud” and Noyd’s role “unprofessional” though not rising to the level of research misconduct.

The Ramjees sued Verma in Warren County Common Please Court earlier this year, saying the former department head deceived them about research he said he was conducting. The Ramjees claim that Verma would ask for help in the developmental stages of the work but decline assistance with data collection, statistical analysis or writing of the paper. The Ramjees names were then used at Verma’s sole discretion, the suit says.

But the findings conclude the Ramjees share responsibility in the fabrication or falsification of research results.

Universities across the country have dealt with academic misconduct by faculty, but this investigation marked the first time in NKU’s history that the peer review process was triggered for such an offense. It began with a complaint sent to Mike Carrell, dean of the business college, in February 2002 that raised the possibility of research misconduct in six faculty papers. Later, a committee of three full-time, tenured professors spent hundreds of hours over several months collecting documents, interviewing witnesses and reviewing evidence submitted by the professors.

I never wanted to hurt anybody but as it is getting delayed with my case, the more it is going to get ugly.  I will dig everything out and more people are going to suffer because of this one man.

Manipal University should realize now that defending the cheats & criminals will cost them.  Of course, they are also the party to all sort of crimes when it comes to affiliation and approval from the government authorities.

University Grants Commission website information clearly states that Manipal University Dubai Campus (Off-shore) has no approval (?????) and also the distance education courses of Manipal group (Sikkim Manipal University) is under UGC-AICTE-DEC Joint committee approval but they advertise to be No.1 in Distance Education.

God only knows……… how these people play with the life of our future generations. To my surprise PM Office and Vice-President’s Office have replied to my complaint. Let me see what is going to happen……….

Case Timeline……

TIMELINE: January 31 – July 31, 2012

As I have taken the Oath to seek justice at any cost and bring the corrupt to bow down under the law, the only option available with me is to expose everything. When you dig a graveyard, obviously more skeletons will come out and the surprise for the public………..

UGC Website information: Manipal University Dubai Campus do not have approval for the abroad (Off-shore) Campus from the Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Developement and University Grants Commission.

I am no more surprised as it is clear now after digging and finding out the character of the individuals who were responsible for the inhuman attitude and behavior. The Government authorities and the institutions responsible to take action will be exposed soon if they refuse to act on the complaints. The individuals who are in the position and have the power should know how to be responsible or else someone has to pay the price.

I will expose about his past in America and attack him personally in the forth coming video on individuals who were responsible for this downfall of Manipal University.

Now, it is time for Manipal University Chancellor & Vice-Chancellor’s to defend the case.

Let us wait and see……..as Prime Minister’s Office in India had the courtesy to reply to my complaint.  Further, Ministry of External Affairs have started the process of investigation and I am still waiting for the Ministry of HRD and UGC to take action.

The above link will not work since the UGC has revamped the old website and they really don’t know how to maintain the website and also to provide proper and complete information. Of course, the government employees are the one who don’t give a damn about anything. That is why all these irregularities and corruption takes place. If you email requesting any information no one will reply and if you call them, no answer.  (All the telephone lines will be out of service) Check out this link for the recent notification to all Universities. (It may work for some time) A more shocking news story & reality of Manipal University Dubai Campus is coming soon……….

This is going to be a big fight against corruption in the education sector.  Of course, Manipal University is ready for it but they would not have expected this much of trouble from me.

A simple person who was ready to leave and get out of the University is going to bring them down on knees and this is how the Case begins in India with questions being asked about the establishment of the abroad campus and to show/reveal all the documents, records of approval, permission, recognition and qualifications of faculty, eligibility, students details and records of the examination.

Are you ready? I am asking the Manipal University and their representatives to get ready. I have given enough time to rectify the mistakes but from now on it is going to be a real WAR.

Watch the Untold TRUE story in my YouTube Channel. (It’s a 30 min. video – be prepared to have patience to know the full story)

Coming Soon – the entire story of the Case against Manipal University from the beginning to finish line.  This is not only to get justice but also to record and document the events for the rest of the people to know and understand the human emotions & values.  I am surprised to know some of them still keep track of my blog and what do I say to them? Here is the proof and why do they look for an answer from me. I am not a messenger or ‘Mahatma’ to give guidance on what should one do with regard to their life. Everyone is free to do what ever they want but we all should remember with liberty and freedom comes responsibility.

I am having great fun to know how people search for the information in my blog, like some of the search engine terms “has anand sudarshan resigned from manipal university”, “can someone be an assistant professor in India without having net qualification”, “is the corporate course from manipal university worth?”, “are manipal university exams tough”, “students robbed manipal”, “manipal university dubai blog sucks”, “sex in manipal”, “how long will it take ramji and associate to settle my case”, and the list goes on……actually people should know there is no solution to all these searches.

Corruption & Human Rights Violation Case

Court Case against Manipal University: iReport on CNN.com (Part-2)

I am surprised at the way law & media works when it comes to Human Rights Violation and Corruption Cases.  Now a days, Journalism has also become a pure commercial business. I know very well, that the journalist have to be ruthless and they also have to survive by marketing without affecting Corporates from their PR activities. But to highlight the atrocities and publish human interest stories it takes so much effort to do it.

Wow! That’s Great! But I am sure someone, somewhere will help me out to bring the story in a big way.

”Comments are Free but Facts are Sacred”

I am going to give all the facts and let me see how Manipal University is going to defend it. For all those who visit, read and comment please do remember technology is so advanced that you can be track-down and pin-pointed exactly who you are even if you try to hide your identity. Of course, I am not going to do that by any chance. Everyone has the right to comment that is why it is said, “Comments are free” – Ms.Y

I am so surprised that many people read my blog and have changed their attitude after reading it. This shows greatness on their part. When somebody points out our mistakes as a human we all have to correct ourselves and rectify it.   As I have decided to take on Manipal University to the Court for their violations, it is going to be hard for everyone who is associated with the Institution. This is not about my job or any other person, but about the greater change coming on its way. If we don’t realize it or accept it, then we all fail together by not allowing the “TRUTH to TRIUMPH”.

Judgment Day

I am now happy after four months of struggle, got relieved from Manipal but still justice is pending. I am not here to judge anyone but to speak the TRUTH and reveal the drawbacks in the system. Watch out for the YouTube Video

Dubai Court First_Order

“Justice Delayed is Justice Denied” – But in my case, I am ready to wait as long as possible since I have decided not to do any other work till I get justice.  For all those years Manipal is going to pay for me.  Ha……Ha……Ha…..very funny!

As I said it is not my job to bring in change in the society. Let me ask the people who are powerful and in position to make decisions. How do you justify these acts of crime in the name of Education? I am sharing here, what in Manipal they do with regard to examinations and evaluation.  My experience of more than three years has made to reconsider whether it is worth to be honest and loyal at the work place.

All that I have seen, heard and done was nothing but a corrupt practices by changing the attendance percentage, giving unacceptable marks and grades without any work and logic in it.  I was taught not to get emotional on the issues of spoiling the student’s life. The parents send their ward to college in a stage were they hope their children will be moulded into a proper adult to hold responsibility and become a good citizen to lead a dignified life.

All those students who come with fresh hopes to grow and eager to learn ends up in a bad shape by seeing the wrong practices and improper guidance by the selfish persons (teachers and management) who destroys not only the values and morals but literally affect the entire perception of the students for the rest of their life. Without attending classes properly and not doing any assignments you can get away by paying fees and fines, write the examination to get the degree. When it comes to examination, even blank empty papers get marks. Students are surprised and happy to know that without writing anything you get 70 or 80 marks. Even if you score less than 60 marks it can be graded as ‘A’ – surprise, Isn’t it? Again, I am not making any wild allegations. I worked here and I have seen enough of it. I will prove it with records and let the people understand and explain it.

Of course, when the COE (Controller of Examination) doesn’t bother about what the faculties do in their course paper and in evaluation, What can you expect from others? When people are given absolute power, this is what happens. It always provides the individual to do all sort of non-sense and justify it. “With Great Power comes Great Responsibility” but here, absolute power leads to absolute corruption. We can do anything or nothing when it comes to practical.  No one is going to check on the internal and external evaluators. And most of the time, all the work is done by one individual faculty who takes the subject and the other person just signs the documents. The same method is carried out in the double evaluation of the answer sheets in theory examination. The first evaluator (normally the internal staff) who taught the course do it and the external (second) evaluation is done by the outsider. But here, the external faculty will be the person who can closely work with the first person. I mean, no need to evaluate the paper rather enter the marks given with plus or minus difference to avoid third evaluation and sign it.  Just the paper work needs to be completed. Here, I have to reveal one incident, (very special) when I was asked to do the second evaluation for the Certificate Course by IT department Faculty, he went way ahead and filled up everything and asked me to just sign it. Since it was in the initial years, I was not only surprised but asked him, Can I see the paper? He said, why you want to trouble yourself? There is nothing in it. But we have to pass them with high grades……otherwise it is not possible to get more admission. I was curious to know what is there in the paper? As I signed as a second evaluator for the paper in which getting a 75 + (A Grade) marks should be an extraordinary student. So, I went ahead and cross-checked the answer sheet without his knowledge after signing the documents given to me by him. I was completely shocked to know that there was nothing in that paper.  How do you justify this act? How can you give marks to empty papers? I am not blaming this one individual faculty alone. Everyone were doing the same with various levels of difference in it. The next one, for me to learn not to question the system but to follow it without creating any trouble. So, I was asked to note down the marks and give it to the second evaluator to complete the work. If not, I have to find a person who can do it properly.  But, no one is interested to do it nor Manipal is interested to spend small amount of money to be paid for outsider to evaluate the examination papers.

This is like saying my system is the best by not allowing others to do the assessment. Then comes the most ridiculous relative system of grading the marks obtained by the students.  Here, I can do wonders by grading the students who got less than 60 into ‘A’ Grade or even less than 50 marks as ‘C’ Grade. I have no intention to lie. I will show the records and I swear that it is done without any remorse by the faculties. So, all these things reveal how much loopholes are provided in the evaluation system? For example, if I don’t like a student, it is very easy for me to target him. If that student is an average or below average then it is very easy for me to hurt him. Even if he is a bright and brilliant student, he can never get away from the faculties arrogance.

Quiz: 1. Find the student name who got the degree without attending the practical examinations?

2. Identify the name of the student who got the degree after a long struggle of six years.

Clue: He is back with his own loyalty doing his Masters in Manipal University but he hates so much that his vocal and criticizing attitude got him One month suspension from the College. He is a bright and intelligent student, unfortunately not able to do anything better than cursing Manipal. In the second one, the person managed to get the degree without attending classes and living in Oman, he was able to complete it at the end after a long period.

Answers to be given in the next post with mark sheet.  The beauty in this, I was giving suggestion to the student to be aware of the faculties who are looking for chances to hold him back.  He was lucky to get the degree as the earlier Chair was not there during his final semester when he had fallen sick and not able to come to college for more than ten days during the end semester examinations.  His Dad requested us to allow his son to write the practical examinations after he recovers from illness for which every other faculties agreed. And when he came back to take the practical for my subject, I asked him, how did he managed with all the other subjects. He said, they all just gave assignment and I submitted so no problem with Zaheeruddin, Sabir and Kailash. I was the only one who waited for him to return and conduct the examination and ask the student  to sign the attendance sheet records. When I checked with Zaheeruddin, he said I signed myself for the student and closed it long back and submitted to the examination cell.  If I ask,What is this? How can you do like that. As usual, he said, Sabir only told me to do it. Yes, Of course they all can do whatever they want and no one will question them.

Though this student is a bright and brilliant student, it can not be justified that without conducting any practical examination for the student marks can be given based on assignments.  For this help, his Dad showed loyalty to Manipal by sending him back to do Master Degree.  Even before the day of my termination, I was talking to him not to indulge in criticism about Manipal in social media sites and faculties are talking about it again. But now, I am going to do the same thing…………but in a different manner by extensively campaigning against the Manipal University in the public domain. Filing a Case in the Indian Court challenging to cancel the affiliation and the University status. I hope to discuss it in the national media and report it and seek justice from the National Human Rights Commission for violating the rules and holding my passport. I will be writing to all the schools in U.A.E. and also to seek justice from the public. Let me take out the share of my profit from Manipal University in my way.

Grow Up!

I have given more proof of corruption in Manipal University Dubai Campus in this post by revealing more records of the media & communication department. These are just few samples and if I show or tell the entire facts and stories most of you will not know, how to react and what to do or say? The beauty is everybody is aware of these things. That’s why I call each one of us as a criminal.  We all have to be ‘burned alive’ in the hell for doing nothing and remain silent. Let me continue with the interesting and action filled events of my past.

April 2011: For the first time, I understood the meaning of the word ‘grow up’.  After all that has happened, I now realize that I need to really grow up. If that is what it means, I don’t like to grow in my life. We all have lost the essence of life. The beauty of growth remains in allowing the individual to blossom like a flower and spread the fragrance in a natural way. When everything around us is surrounded by artificial things, we can only live a fake life cheating ourselves by hiding the reality.

This time, I ended up with an unwarranted fight with a sluggish guy from Fashion department.  Though still I can not understand why did I reacted to RNS request and went to the Director (ginger eaten monkey) for the second time.  Since, he insisted me to go and meet him before things get worse in this case. Actually, he tried to threaten me by saying, You better ask apology to the guy who did the mistake and he was so arrogant to show off. He went on to say, They are most influential and powerful people here. They may take up the issue with the ginger eaten monkey and it may create problem for you.  I said, I don’t care or give a damn about it. Let them try it out. But, he used tactics and advised me by saying,  You have a family to take care, better not to loose your job for silly reasons.  I will not be able to support you and it is better to ask for an apology to them (as the guy went on to complain to his lady Chairperson and hide behind her).

As usual, I was stubborn and told him, you don’t have to support me. I know how to protect myself. Let me go and say to the Director and see what he does? I am ready to loose the job and don’t give a damn about what others think about me.  I strongly trust in my ability and I don’t have to shit or beg for a livelihood.  The World is big enough and I know how to live my life?  That’s why I went to the ginger eaten monkey with all the official email letters exchanged during the spat between us. Before, I reached the office, information should have gone. So, he didn’t said anything to me. Just took the papers from me and without even looking at it or asking what happened, told me, ‘You better Grow Up’ and the meeting ended. Wow! Excellent message received. I asked a colleague to submit his question paper for examination and in return I get a shocking reply after twelve weeks of the semester, A big shout, How dare you ask me to work? and then went on to speak in a filthy language right in front of my Chairperson. Of course, they are show business people for them it is not obscene or offensive to use the language like, Do you have balls (means ‘guts’)? then show it up to fight with me. How dare you? Do you know who I am and he went on blabbering to RNS. I completely ignored him after sending a letter (Off the record) in paper through the Office boy. I kept quiet without any reaction and wanted to see what RNS is going to do in this and how he is going to react some one who misbehaves so badly. But again, he also remained silent in front of him and later on went on to advise me. Just ignore him and let us not engage with these kind of people from next semester.

I would have slapped that guy or ended up in a physical fight for using such a bad language but kept quiet since he was in a wheel chair at that time due to some injury. Lucky, he escaped from me and unfortunately I missed a golden opportunity of getting out of Manipal by assaulting him.  I was describing this incident to all my colleagues afterwards and explained how mean it was for others to do like this and ask for an apology from me. I dare the devil. If at all, I have to fight, I prefer to fight with people who are worth to try……..like the Manipal Management.

Interesting & Infuriating Letters of non-sense in a special way.

Subject: FW: End Semester Exam Question Paper

Hello Sabir,

This was the mail that was sent to me ..and it was not sent two weeks before but on the 20th of April, four days prior to the date of submitting five theory based question papers for subject in which not a single theory class was taken.

Also forwarding you in the forthcoming mail the very arrogantly bold reminder that he sent on the 25th of April one day after the official deadline for submission. The mail was more like a shout rather than a reminder in terms of Netiquette !!! But that aside, I still requested him through a mail (having reciprocal accents of similar Netiquette)  to explain to me what actually was the requirement. Which he has still not bothered to do so.

And to top it when I had called him to clarify about the same he goes on about a long lecture about me not aware about the course curriculum, course objective and the rules and regulations of the media department. Also explains to me that he never requested me to take this course …completely oblivious of the fact that the request was made by both you and R.N Shukul. Also he goes on to educate me about what and what not I should have made myself aware and clear about since I have been teaching for the past 6-7 years!!!

Sorry so say but I don’t want him to judge me on my experience and my abilities and also to be my critic. For which he has no right whatsoever and that exists solely  with the director of our institution and my department chair.  And such criticism if provided even by a collogue in the right manner would definitely be taken in the right spirit but on no count ever will I tolerate the tone and utter disrespect in which Mr. S. Manikandan had spoken!

To be honest I was not really aware of the fact that the previously sent mail was actually intended for me. In fact I was under the impression it was carbon copy of the mail that was sent to  Zaheeruddin Ahmed. Normally to my understanding a subject like basic illustration techniques is purely practical and if the requirement was so then a clear briefing should have been given in writtenor even at least verbally by the Course Coordinator : Mr. S. Manikandan.  Which had never happened!. Nor was any brief provided on what was the ratio of the breakup between theory and practical . If my dear friend Manikandan is trying to be emphatically  methodical I guess that should have been a good start.  Only when we (Sabir & Myself)  had that casual conversation regarding the question paper did I understand that a theory paper was actually the new norm with respect to your department. Manikandan could have at least bothered to explain / educate me on this new rule. Also he should have done so much before right at the onset of the course so that I could have incorporated theory based classes. At this juncture when no such classes have happened, it fails me to understand how on earth am I to ask the students to take a theoretical exam when none of that nature has been taught to them.

The mail is purely to document and explain the entire proceedings and also make aware to Mr. S. Manikandan the courtesies that he should extend to fellow colleagues. Which I hope at this juncture he would definitely be aware of and I hope in future our pleasantries would be more cordial and academically urbane.

you to explain to me as what I am supposed to make as a theory question paper for practical subject like illustration. Also I have not conducted any theory classes on the subject. And if I am not mistaken, I was asked to take the subject on a practical direction and not theoretical.  So pls do explain to me in “small fonts if possible”!!! what exactly you are expecting in terms of theory.

Thanks…

Hi,

Kindly send Five set of question papers for End Semester Examination (Theory Paper) on or before 24 April 2011.

Media & Communication

No wonder, he had the guts to speak like that to me. When a person boldly conveys in writing that I have not taken any class properly for the past twelve weeks from the beginning of the semester and goes on to say and justify his act by blaming others in the process. No condemnation or warning given on his action but instead I was asked to understand the workplace to grow up.  I am so certain, that I can never react in a much better way than this by a reply mail. Off the record - Look out for it in the next post.

Now it is time to enjoy by seeing the records to understand Manipal Education System. No Offense intended and Is there anyone who has the guts to comment on it?  I am waiting for the real show ‘Satyamev Jayate‘.

Let me see how far Manipal is going to justify with the internal corruption in the court of law.  I know all those who are reading my blog post will be worried but I am helpless in this war against corruption.  Can they change all these records of more than five years in the department? I do have inside source to get to bottom of any level. This is going to be an ugly fight and as I said, No mercy, No morals, No rules to be followed. I will be revealing all the secrets and expose everything that is possible.

Violations: Proof of internal corruption at its best.

Wake Up…..Know your Rights!

The Students in Manipal and in the Media department are affected by the arbitrary decisions made by different people. The management do not care for any quality in education. They just need more money (income) from the abroad campuses.

Q&A: Anand Sudarshan, CEO, Manipal Education
’60% of our revenue comes from abroad’
Praveen Bose / Jan 10, 2011, 00:22 IST

This is not targeted towards Anand Sudarshan but i would like to know from him. As a MD & CEO of Manipal Education Group, How do you justify the act of my termination? I am going to write to each and everyone with regard to my case.  I will fight for the justice till the end.  I was asking for an answer from him through social media and posting comments on the articles related to the business of Manipal. Of course, he can not answer because Manipal is now caught red hand in corruption and not able to accept the reality. Careers 360

Read this article - Just a sample to show how the corporate world type of business in education is leading us into disaster.  Profit is the only motive or mantra to attract the investors and stakeholders.  Even in the corporate type of companies, talented, intelligent and hard-working people are retained and merit is given priority and not reservation and recommendation. But here, I really wonder how do they justify the act of retaining scumbag and then calling everyone as donkeys and asses? When there is a shortage in quality of faculties, infrastructure and sub-standard procedure and evaluation system, why this show business? One day or the other you all will pay for your crimes. Till then enjoy it.

Let me go ahead with the story of what happened during the last year and how the students were cheated and management also ended up loosing money and business.

June 2011: We were informed about the entire course syllabus being changed. From September 2011 new syllabus for Bachelor Degree in Media & Communication is going to be introduced and visual communication specialization is completely removed with a new one Graphics & Animation. I was told that I have a big role to play since no one else can handle that specialization except me.  I was forced to suggest course papers and approve his decision as if I am an expert in the field.  When there was no need to completely restructure the syllabus (since it was done only few years ago) and I saw a clear sign of destruction in it.  Even with regard to the earlier syllabus which had too many discrepancies and errors in the course division of theory and practical part. It took a long time to correct the errors and fix it in the main document.  No one ever cared or bothered about it in the department.  I kept pointing it out from the beginning and I asked the previous Chair to rectify it as and when possible and for that itself it took almost two years to set it right of the minor restructuring of old syllabus which was done in the year 2008.  I was not even there in the scene at that time.  For all those errors those who worked in the department from the beginning should be held responsible.  So, It looked as if I alone care for the quality education system in the department and everyone is busy in their own interest.

Now, the entire course has been tarnished by jumbling the papers to different semesters, removing certain core papers, changing the credits, increasing and decreasing the credits in each semester destroying the uniformity and cross linking main course papers and setting mandatory requirements.  Apart from the entire course revision, there is no syllabus brief and course outline, no textbook and reference material provided to the courses.  All this was done without any opinion and suggestion from subject experts or panel member consultation.  He is a real smart guy in taking revenge. He planned it in such a way that no one will doubt his integrity and commitment towards the work.  When all of them remained silent, I asked him, right in front of everyone in the department. Why do you want to change the entire syllabus? and What if the new Chair doesn’t like the changes you want to make since you are not going to be here?

He smiled and said, No one can change it for the next three years since I got the Board of Studies approval from Manipal in India.  I was informed and advised by my two elder (sister) colleagues in the department to remain silent and not to create any further problem and fight with him.  I was indirectly threatened and advised by the colleagues to keep my mouth shut.  Everyone in the department know that he is going to Canada on Immigration and not going to come back. I know, why restructuring the course syllabus is going to affect the department. According to KHDA instructions and requirements, branch campus can not run the courses in their own way. They have to follow the Main Campus course structure and there should not be huge difference and deviation in it.  If any course is not offered in India it should not be conducted over here. Hence, the Fashion department which was considered as a flagship program of Manipal Dubai Campus has been forced to close down the business. It is going to happen to the Media & Communication Department as well in a short period. Congratulations! Great to know that and happy to hear it. Let us wait for that day.

May 2011: The Students got confused and many of them were targeted by the Chair who went on an ego trip without understanding the procedure and structure of the evaluation system. First, he got confused on what he was saying and then started to confuse others and the students. For the first time, the final year students were totally upset to hear it and they don’t know what to do? Some of them came to me worried and asked whether they will be able to graduate.  As RNS said to them, those who have D+ or D grade in any of the course papers will not be able to qualify for graduation and they have to improve the grade to C by reappearing for the particular papers.  Then he went on to say, You all need to get a pass mark in the internal assessment. Those who have less than 25 out of 50 marks will not be able to clear the paper. It may sound correct but there is no logic in it.  For these many years students who were getting less than 20 easily cleared the paper successfully with C and C+ grade.  One example, to show how arrogant and stupid he was in denying the facts and what he was doing these many years? being a senior most faculty. His own property specialization of Television students final internal marks is provided here to show to everyone how these students cleared the course papers and got their degrees.  Later on, he tried to argue and order me to follow his stupid orders without questioning.  As if I was not aware of the internal and external evaluation, he gave me instructions about what should I do? and how to evaluate and run the course by involving in corrupt practices? I don’t listen to any idiots and I ignored his ramblings, for which I was taken to the Director (ginger eaten monkey) who doesn’t know (pretends to be aware of everything) what is happening?

Let the great RNS or the Director explain how these students who got less than 25 marks in different course papers passed. I tried to explain and show all the facts and he was not ready to listen anything from me. Just like that ignored me and went on to question about my integrity and how can I fail so many students. When I asked who said, they are failed. First let him allow the students to write the examination.  I said, if this is how you want me to work, fine go ahead let him add more marks to all the students.  For that again, the ginger eaten monkey refused to agree saying, How can you justify? (What moral is there to justify in this college) RNS went ahead to defend himself by blaming me since I strip teased him right there by saying, You were in the department from the beginning and you don’t know the procedure and you want me to show the records. Can you explain how students who got less internal marks were able to pass in the past.  I can show you the records in our department, students who got zero internal marks have cleared the paper. He got frustrated and upset, started to shout and lost control so the ginger eaten monkey told me to make a decision right there and I said, I will stick to my position and I am not willing to manipulate anything.  Both of them were disturbed by my firm stand and the meeting ended with an indirect warning message saying, I appointed him as the Chair, so you better learn to listen and obey his order to remain in the department.  He said, I know you can understand my statement if you wish to stay and look forward. I will accept only his evaluation and report on the performance appraisal.

I was so sure that even this time (as it was the third time in a short period of three months) he is going to listen to me and most probably going to dismiss me from the services.  I didn’t reacted initially but later I went on to point my finger towards the Director and said, even if you scream at me like how RNS did with me in front of the students, I will not tolerate and no body has any right to do that. When I am doing my job properly and with utmost care, I don’t have to listen to anyone for any suggestion.  I remained silent when RNS shouted at me since I never wanted to disrespect him in front of the students and I understood his psychic very well and I was able to handle the situation by making him more upset.

I  know my position and about what I am doing in my course and no body has to teach me how to run the courses?  What ever I did was part of a proper course evaluation and assessment. It is for the betterment of the students and of the Institution.  So, they have to learn to respect and earn the degree.  Not by any other means and I often use to strongly criticize some of the students who never attend the class but at the end come and ask for attendance % to write the exam.  Without doing any work or taking any test, how can I give internal marks? and what are you trying to say? Are we selling degrees? In that case, why don’t you go and ask the accounts department to issue a Degree Certificate when you pay the fees.

The argument was because I failed more than 20 students in the Internal marks. i.e. I gave less than 25 marks out of 50 in the Principles of Media Management subject handled by me for the fourth semester students.  The total number of students in the Class were more than 55 and almost all those who did the assignments, presentations and class test scored good marks.  It was those students who had less attendance percentage and those who skipped the test and assignment got lesser marks.  And the beauty in this, there is no rule or process to declare those who got less marks in the internal evaluation are considered fail. They have the external examination and of course all the students who got lesser marks can pass the examination without any problem. All students have to sign and accept the internal marks before external examination. When no students, came to me complaining about it and those who tried with RNS wanted to get some marks in the internal so that they can justify they can appear for examination in spite of having less attendance percentage. (Almost 98% of the students passed in this subject)

The next rule which is regularly violated is the attendance. As per the college rules and guidelines provided in the document, every student must have 80% attendance in each course paper. But every semester, we decide in the department meeting to reduce the cut-off to 70% or even less than 65% and further to the height of it, every student will bring in different influences to allow them with lesser attendance % than on what was decided.  Those individual cases will be decided by the Chairperson and often they force us to allow and change the internal marks. Here is one more sample document to show how every time after giving final internal marks it is changed by putting whitener and counter signing by the faculties. Zero marks will be changed to 25 to 35 immediately without any reason. It is a standard procedure and the protocol is often followed by the great Sabir and Joseph. It was very funny, I don’t know how to laugh? When many of the students having less than 60% attendance were allowed to write examination and why is that some of them were targeted and stopped from writing the external examination.

This is why I get upset when different rule and yardstick is applied in discriminating the students? For all those students who want to know their rights and fight for justice, it is time to question the authorities. Some of the students were stopped in my course paper also giving reason of less attendance % by RNS.  I made it very clear to him. If you are going to stop those who have less attendance it should be applied across the board and no selective targeting.  I have no reservation and let all the students appear irrespective of attendance since we are not in any way following the rules and regulations. But, what he did was …….. I don’t know how to say that? If those students who come to know this will definitely get very angry for being exploited and asked to pay more fees again.

They were not actually stopped from writing the examination. But instead of it, they were registered for the examination without their knowledge for which they have to pay the fees later on. They were given Hall ticket in which it was mentioned as “Not Eligible” to write the paper. This means, they have to repeat the course by paying the full course fees (AED 5000) and attend the class as a regular student and get fresh Internal Marks to appear for the examination next year when the semester is on.  In this manner, more students were targeted and I came to know about it through one of the final year student who came to me crying that he was stopped from writing the final semester by RNS. Though he tried is level best by bringing his father to ask him to allow to write the examination. (Poor guy, he didn’t know that bringing his mother would have solved the problem) As some of the students managed to get away some got trapped. I was not able to believe it since we never use to stop any final semester students irrespective of their attendance % and the records will speak how low standard Manipal has and in terms of providing quality education.  Those who have not attended even 30% of the class were also allowed in the past and this time, the student was not allowed for reason known to him alone.  When I cross-checked with the examination cell and the records submitted, I was totally taken back to know that everyone is registered for the exam but in their Hall-Ticket it was mentioned as ‘Not Eligible’. In one way, management also lose money when every other student is allowed to register.

When I asked about this to RNS after openly stating it to all in the ‘Thanks giving’ meeting as ‘Sir, I know What you did? But I am not going to say it’.  As I know it will not have any impact and reaction at that time. He was still justifying it saying, It is my prerogative, you better mind your job and I know what I am doing? When I asked him, If the Controller of Examination knows about it, what will you do? He said, who is that? I was puzzled and said, I mean Dr.Shahul Hameed for which he laughed and gave a sarcastic comment. He is just a ……… and real COE is some name who is in Manipal India.  [I didn't know that for such a long time] Then, I realized my mistake of asking about it to him and then decided not to do anything expect revealing the fact to the final year student and I asked him to write the exam to get the Degree along with his classmates. He was afraid to take the risk since it was mentioned in the hall-ticket as Not Eligible and during the examination if RNS knows about it then I will not be able to get the degree. So, he skipped the end semester exam in June 2011 but appeared in the supplementary October 2011 by paying just AED 250 and cleared the paper with high score of above 70% marks and cleared the paper to get his degree.  When RNS justified his stand to the students father saying he can not clear the paper even if he allow him since the internal mark is less than 15.  Now, How come that is made possible? Mr. Joseph John, the new Chair has to give an explanation to it. Of course, anything is possible in Manipal. He is now busy calling all those students who were stopped and failed during the past years and offering them the opportunity to complete the formalities and get the Degree without coming to college and attending the classes. Students can stay in different country like Oman, Nigeria or any where and still can register for the examination. They just have to come on the day of exam to appear and all other things will be taken care. When that is the case, why to attend class and those who were stopped in my course paper “Principles of Media Management” in June 2011 kindly take note of it and wake up before it is too late. Know your rights and fight for it. Don’t pay extra money to get a worthless Degree from Manipal and you all have the right to complain it to TECOM through Voice it !

April 2011: More interesting and unforgettable things happened in this month and it will be shared in the next post.

Time Machine – Count down

‎”Meditation is not a solution of any problem in particular; it solves nothing. It simply helps you to get rid of the mind, the problem-creator. Once you know you are not the mind the great transcendence will happen.  Suddenly all problems become insignificant; slowly, slowly they will evaporate”.

As I was aware, exactly one year before to my termination on January 31, 2012 (i.e. on January 31, 2011 – the last day of the previous Chair, Md. Firoz) the actual problem for me started to surface. In one way, he was responsible for creating it. Even after giving resignation, he was holding to the position and acted in a weird manner. Both RNS and Firoz refused to accept the cold war between them was over.  Neither Firoz was ready to handover the position nor RNS was ready to take charge since it came to him at the time when he was already prepared to make an exit from Manipal. By default, being a senior most and respected (not any more) he was given the responsibility to damage the entire department and the faculties at his will.

I am trying to look through those incidences which made me wonder, ‘Why people behave so badly and insult each others when they know, it’s all over and we are not going to meet ever in life after this unless we want to be in touch’.  I was rushing to the college in break time from the Conference just to know that there was no decency left with any of my colleagues in the department to even give a send off tea party to Firoz as I was asked to come and join if possible. But then, I realized no one actually had any interest or liking for it. They all were looking for an opportunity to take revenge and show their real hatred for the person.

The Next day started with real fun without me. I don’t want to give selective and biased information or reveal the stories from my view point alone.  Let everyone understand it in their own way. Actually, when Mr.RNS called for a departmental meeting, no one turned up and he was insulted by the faculties who were present on the day by not attending and giving excuses. Everyone of them were busy with their own schedule and playing off during the semester break and also not in a mood to listen his rambling. So, the anger turned towards me when I wrote a mail to him requesting to consider my concerns and certain issues in the department.

Dear Colleagues,

Please assemble at the news lab at 12 o’clock, today for this semester’s first departmental meeting. The agenda is open to discussion and finalization of any issues that may come to the fore.

Regards

RNS

I was presenting a research paper and attending a three day International Conference  at Hamdan Bin Mohamed e-University in Dubai Atlantis Hotel on my own expenses from Jan.31 – Feb.2 and everyone in the department was aware of it. I took permission and leave for a week from Jan.26 onwards to attend another International Conference till Jan.30, 2011. Before, I proceed to reveal what he tried to do and how he harassed me during his tenure? Let me expose on the ground realities of how people get jealous when you try to do your job and mind your own business by remaining unaffected on what others talk about you.  I received a mail and repeated calls from one of my friend and colleague from management department with whom I did the research paper saying that he was chased till the toilet (rather call it ragging) by my department faculty. A letter from him while I was in the Conference.

Subject: ragging
Dear S. Manikandan sir,
here your dept guys asking the paper MEDIA AND THE CONSUMER to READ?. I TOLD them [ Mr.R.N. Shekul ] i don,t have full paper.
take care.
let us discuss . pl call me

Everybody knows that presenting a research paper is as easy as any dumb job. Though it is being said double-peer or blind reviewed and published in journal. If any one has a doubt with regard to the standard or quality of the paper, let them criticize it. No body is going to care about it. By the way, I was back again insulted by the Director and his Office by not providing any reply or answer to my letter requesting reimbursement of the cost for the conference. I was told by the then Department Chair and the Finance Manager, it is the Director’s decision, he can approve any number of paper. So you give a letter and let us see what he does? I know very well the ginger-eaten monkey will not reply as he did the same in the past.  Later, we all received official mail on the number of papers to be presented in a year….and procedure to claim….blah……blah. It was just a coincidence and it has nothing to do with my paper presentation. Though, I never tried to do too many in a year and claim for reimbursement money, it looked very pathetic that you get discriminated and targeted for doing research work and presenting papers. But, the same people will say it is possible to write a full book (300 – 350 pages) on a technical subject (Maya software) within three months without any copyright issues and violations doing your full-time job.

I was puzzled at the attitude of the person whom I respected till that date. Since, I use to wish him ‘Good Morning’ every day even before I open my cabin. Though, I never like to disturb or distract him because he was busy with his thesis work coming early to college and was working hard to some how complete it.  He use to look at me when I enter sitting right opposite to my cabin. I saw him as a father figure and I tried to maintain a good working relationship. I would like to recollect and say few good things as well about him and those moments we shared. Whenever I see some one known to me smoking, I show the care towards them by asking try to quit Smoking. I have done this from my childhood starting from my father to everyone I remember till the last one being a girl student.  I gave him tips on how to quit and also mailed him about meditation techniques if he wish to try it out.

I supported him by doing all the work and helped him whenever he asked me. So, it was unbelievable, why can’t he just ask me about the research paper. I was right in front of him. I would have shown it to him and I would have felt more happy if he wanted to comment or criticize. I was ready to share it with anyone for that matter. It was not a secret mission. This incident gave me an idea about what I can expect and it clearly showed up.

For one reason, I like Mr.RNS, though we fought on many issues and he was not able to handle me with my righteousness and also not able to accept the defeat in every other attempt. Whether he was a coward or heartless to do such things which not only affected me but everybody in the process. I am not here to talk for others so let those who got affected decide about it. Let me begin with his last attempt to dismantle the entire department.

Corruption in Manipal University Dubai

I am not here to take revenge on some one or the other.  I just like to record the events in my life and try to be honest and say the Truth.  My experiment with truth.  I leave the rest to be decided by the people. I do not wish to change anything in this world, I know it is not my job and I am not a savior of this World or a Hero to prove others were wrong. I can only talk for myself and to take care of my life, I am doing all that is possible. When that itself is a big thing…….Why to bother about Society or Social problems? I think, that’s why no one bothers about Corruption? We all are part of that crime. No one can escape from the criminal act of remaining silent and justify that I have not done anything wrong. Being a mute spectator is also a partner to crime.

Of course, in this process I am trying to create awareness and help others for one simple reason. I want to be a threat to those who think they alone exist in this world. I am back again to the unwanted incidences…..

A Quick revamp – I was terminated from my job on January 31, 2012 without any reason and explanation. I accepted everything and all the non-sense that happened after that for almost four months. Now, I am going to expose every bit of corruption that takes place in Manipal Dubai so that no decent and honest person will choose to be there. All that I asked was to return my passport and it would have ended then and there in a better way. After a long struggle, I got out of Manipal Sponsorship and now I am on my own. They failed in every other attempt to harass me.  But, now life has a different design for everyone who is involved in this crime.

The Director and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Manipal University challenged me to take legal course of action. They know very well that it is a tough route and any person who try that path will have to suffer. Hence, they sarcastically commented and laughed at me. You b……s tried your level best to cancel my visa and deport me back to India but no one can do that unless I wish to return back. I will return to India only if I get justice in my case. You think you can do all sort of illegal activity and then escape from the law by paying fine. That’s the logic. Correct. You morons, better know the law before you f….k. How is that? Indian Courts have no jurisdiction over Manipal University. Very funny. When that is the case, Why to reply to the Legal notice? Ha…Ha….Ha…..fear!!!

Success in my second attempt. I got you Frightened. You can not ignore and treat me like an “ass” anymore.  Now it is time to answer to the authorities. You can involve in any kind of corrupt business practices (money laundering and illegal activity of holding passport) in the name of education. An Indian University branch campus offering Indian Degrees recognized by Government of India can not be controlled by the Courts in India and they do not have jurisdiction on my case. Let us see that…..in the Indian Court. Legal Notice – reply by Manipal University. Check out.

As I already said, I am going to fight it out till the end.  I think, your Corporate lawyer has not done any law degree in the first place or may be he might have bought it without going to law college. Hello, Mr. I know that you are not supposed to lie to your Doctor or Lawyer for your own benefit.  When I am making everything public, why am I going to hide anything.  I have nothing to hide or even loose in this battle.  It is Manipal which has to hide many things and seek.  I am not waiting for any compensation. You think, it gets over in the Dubai Appeal Court. Wait and see….You will get to know what happens when you try to harass the employee with criminal intention.  Civil and/or Criminal Case for violating the rules & regulations. Here is the proof of it.

Violation No.1 - Rule book: Dubai Media & Technology Free Zone Authority Regulations

Section:3 – DMTFZA Employment Regulations 2004

As it is a common practice and a tradition of the private companies here in this country, to hold the passport of employees (illegally), threaten and harass them for the most possible extent.  That’s fine till the dispute gets resolved amicably or else face the consequences of the legal action. Here is the Dubai Court Order as a proof that I got my passport back only through the help of Dubai Police after a long struggle.

Violation No.2 – Rule Book: No employees should be appointed by the employer without sponsorship either full-time or part-time. There are still several adjunct faculties working in Manipal University Dubai Campus who do not have non-sponsored ID and they need to have approval from TECOM (Section:2 – Employment of sponsored & non-sponsored employees) to be eligible to work in the Dubai Academic City Free Zone.

How do I know this and Why do I raise this issue now? Just to remind on the past for acting like a ‘Rubber Stamp’ when my wife approached the Director in June 2010 to appoint her full-time after working sincerely and with dedication for more than one and a half years without any sponsorship ID or benefits.  We did every other help to support the Department and the University just to get this much of shit. Now, it is our turn to give it back. When all the other Colleges and Universities in the Academic City follow the rule book and offer a decent working environment, why Manipal alone should be given exception from it.

So, now Manipal University Dubai Campus is going to be fined or to close the business like the Fashion Department was closed after KHDA instructions.  Back in India, to lose the Deemed University recognition status for violating the rules and regulations.

Violation No.3 – Internal Corruption (To be exposed soon………with evidence)

Mirror…Mirror – The Great Psycho

Life is to be lived in full. To be happy is also to be sad. I am completely aware of it.

Man remains a slave of misery because he has chosen it. It is easier to be miserable because the whole crowd is miserable. It feels more comfortable to be with the crowd than to be alone. To be blissful means to be alone.

As I was working with a gang of miserable people. Now, I feel more happy and joyous after getting out of it. Even if you try to show them not to be miserable, unless they realize about it and wish to change nothing can be done. (Thiru da naai Par thu Thiru intha Vittaal Thiru ittai Ozhikka Mudiyathu) I wish to write & speak in the Video blog in my mother tongue. My experience in the Dubai Court reminded me of the lost tradition of speaking in my language. The beauty of life remains in your thoughts and we all can express our emotions better in our own languages that we love the most. Let me first address the main issues to all in a common language and then let me do the rest for my pleasure and interest.

Life is a reflection of our self and understanding others and how we see each other. For now, let me begin with Mr. Joseph John Nalloor who heads the Department of Media & Communication in Manipal Dubai. He has a great potential to be the Head (Chair) at such a young age. Of course, you don’t need to have any experience or qualification to hold that post. That’s why I say, Politicians are far better than ordinary men.  What an aspiration in life? It is not his fault.

Everybody aspire and desire something or the other in life. Nothing wrong in using the opportunity to climb up in the ladder by kicking some asses like (That’s how the Manipal management refers) us. You can not expect everybody to be decent, polite and civilized. I thought any one of the two senior most and experienced woman colleagues will be promoted to the post if no new person is appointed.  I really feel sorry for them, they know better than me on what happened?. “It is a male-chauvinist world and a clear sex discrimination and domination always exists“. Since, No one is completely qualified to hold the post of HOD and to do a “Glorified Clerk” job any one is OK. Am I right in quoting you, Mr. Joseph John? I know you are more frustrated than any of us and your services are being exploited by just giving a post for name sake without any real benefit of salary and increment. You deserve more than anyone else……it is a long pending due from the management. (I hope you have got enough this time in the pending increment for two years)

I have never seen such a cunning and crook person till date. All that I wanted to say to him, it is not worth to live your life with so much shit inside and one day or the other you will repent for being dishonest to yourself. Your parents will feel very bad for bringing you up as such a spoilt kid.  Don’t make your loved ones feel shame on you. And the beauty is even you are being loved by someone. (I really pity for that girl)

I know you were scared to know that Dr. Md. Firoz wanted to come back. How is that? “Eagles fly high” in the front and on the back…….Be true to yourself and to your own words. When I told you about him. What did you said? Karma! Yes, the same is also waiting for………YOU. Remember what you said to me? When you resigned and left Manipal in 2008 and when you came back begging for a job in 2009. It was me who shared the course papers and supported you.  But Don’t worry.  I have already forgiven you. Be happy & enjoy your miserable life.

Pathetic & Miserable guy doesn’t know how to live the life? Why to blame him? He has a good track record. His greatest achievement is “Getting slapped by a girl student”. Wow! It was the decision of the Director (ginger eaten monkey) to promote him and further it is no surprise, the earlier Chairperson who recommended him is not here to defend. It is very easy to pass on the blame. As I was told, my case was decided long back during Mr.RNS time period itself. First, Let me expose about him and then I will move on to “The Great Psycho” act – what happened during his time? (TIME MACHINE)

We all think differently when we come across the word Psycho. It doesn’t have to be a cinematic identity of a killer or criminal who is freaked out and looks always abnormal. There is a Psycho in each one of us.  We don’t like to bring it outside. The reason being, it is not only dangerous to others but also to yourself. Here, I am talking about the Psycho fancy of the mind in the work place. You try to get something and if you fail to reach it, you start blaming yourself or others. Some of them, hide the real self and try to fake it up. But one thing is sure, you can not cheat everyone all the time. One day or the other the TRUTH will come out. Now, it is the time……..

I already know that Mr. RNS (Rashid Narain Shukul) is a great personality but let me expose it to the public. I know, he is out there and connected to many of them in the social media. Sir, I am really…….really sorry for doing this (I never wanted anything of this sort to happen) to you.  All this happened just because of your psycho Ego. You wanted to take revenge on some one else and on Manipal for not treating you in a fair manner. For which you tried your level best to corner and torture me.  We had enough fight during your six months tenure as a Chair starting from the first day. But, why you did this? (recommended Joseph) just because he is your loyal friend or you just wanted to reserve the seat if things doesn’t work out for you in Canada. We all were suppose to laugh when the ginger eaten monkey said to us that you are going on a long vacation and you will come back after three months.  Like you, all the others had their own dreams and everybody has some expectation. You know that very well, one of them went on to the extent of registering for Ph.D. quickly by paying huge amount of money being an NRI and living in Dubai to do a research degree from India. Though now, some Universities have open up the doors and every one who is ready to pay can easily buy it. Why did you shattered their dreams in the race? How could you betray your own Jamia Alumni Colleagues?

Let me ask you and others who are doing the same mistake? How do you justify by staying in Dubai from 2005 to 2011 working in Manipal Dubai you were allowed to do a FULL-TIME Ph.D. (registered in 2006) from Jamia Millia Islamia? When I approached, your Professors said, it is not possible and even they asked me who is doing like that? But, I didn’t say your name (honestly). May be I should ask your guide who supervised your research work.  Yes, I agree everybody does some fraud by hiding the facts in the Resume for getting job. You have mentioned the year and period of graduation and diplomas likewise do mention boldly about your Ph.D. duration and the subject in which you did. Do remember, you asked me the same when I submitted my Resume. You asked me to update it with the year of completion. But, one thing I am not able to understand, when you are from AJK MCRC of the Great Jamia Millia Islamia (as some claim), How & Why did you do your Ph.D from Political Science Department? As you only said, (if you remember the last faculty meeting we all had) go and check online to see your Ph.D. completion.  I did that and I really appreciate your courage to risk your reputation. Congrats! I am truly inspired and hope to get a Ph.D. like you sooner or later. You can see, now I got so inspired by you that, I am going to take a complete revenge on Manipal and all those who hurt me.

Click the link: http://jmi.ac.in/aboutjamia/departments/political-science/research

I was so naive, to approach directly to many Universities in India for registering Ph.D. But, please some one tell me how to make a deal? I know some of them who ended up paying money and wasted years with certain Universities, and then the notification of  Ph.D. registration stands cancelled for non-compliance of the rules & regulations. For e.g. Dravidian University. Of course, our parent campus offer support to do Ph.D. but you need to have a Dad working then anything is possible. You can be posted to Dubai Campus and then after four-year you can go back to Manipal on transfer.  But, you don’t need to qualify and still discriminate others in every other aspect. That’s why they always end up miserable in life. Anyway, I am lucky some relationships ended sooner than later for which I am thankful to myself. I am not going to write a single word about him for now since, he was a HERO and needs a Special dedicated post. I trusted you all and shown enough respect and tried my level best by a compassionate attitude. When you tried repeatedly to harass me and did grave mistakes for which the students are still suffering and when others tried to bring in more rift between you and Firoz by talking rubbish and non-sense, I took all the blame just to keep the working environment better for everyone.

Everybody knows that he did his Ph.D. and Masters in Sociology and what is the big deal in it? Media is a social science. Like you, he may not be proud to mention it openly due to various reason. But, you know one thing, he was more compassionate and easy to handle though he messed up with me before making an exit. By the way, I never wanted his relationship to end in such a bad note.

Anyway, I can not un-do anything that has happened but I can try not to expose more about myself and get hurt. I don’t expect anything from any relationship but still why is this happening to me?

To be blissful means to seek and search for something inside you and not to imitate the crowd. Whenever you are miserable you are attended to, sympathized with, loved. Everybody starts taking care of you. Who wants to hurt a miserable person? Who is jealous of a miserable person? Who wants to be antagonistic to a miserable person? That would be too mean.  The miserable person is cared for, loved, attended to. There is great investment in misery.

Campaign against Manipal – Taste it!

When you are caught in the group of criminals, you have to try to escape from the place before it is too late. Or else you should turn in as one among them. If you stay longer and expect something to happen or try to preach good or even remain silent and do nothing, then one day or the other you will be killed or thrown out.  Yes, exactly that’s what has happened to me. But, I am lucky to get a chance to take revenge on them and expose it in public. I know very well that Legal system protects only the rich and it will not give any help to victim who suffers.  I am ready to wait as long as possible but nothing is going to happen in the case.

But, I am sure on one thing. I can take revenge by damaging the reputation (if there is anything) of Manipal and make them suffer with a huge loss of income by campaigning against the corrupt practices in the University during the admission time.  At the least few public who are genuinely interested in quality Education will be warned of the consequences of getting a worthless Degree from Manipal.

This Summer, Watch Out for the Video exposing the shocking reality on How the Business is done at Manipal Global Education? Nothing more…..

Pleading for Justice

Letter to the Ruler of Dubai

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum

posted by Manikandan in My Experience and have Comments Off

Nothing…..but nonsense

In life, remember one thing: never desire anything so intensely as if it is a question of life and death. Be a little playful.

This is getting crazy and a complete nonsense happening in my case. As I said, I am fighting a War already lost. So, what am I expecting from it? I am just looking around seeing how people live their life? Do anyone really care about others? Why we all are so insensitive to others issues and problems? I am not going to proclaim, but I am going to expose unpleasant realities which is ‘Just’ mean for anyone to know.

I am not Angry on anyone nor frustrated for the loss of job. I am aware of what anger can do? Anger is that you wanted something, and somebody prevented you from getting it. You cannot prevent anger because anger is a by-product, but you can do something else so that the by-product does not happen at all.  So, I am doing whatever possible to get rid of being angry at myself. What else can be done? When everybody in this world shows their back to you.

Known Facts:

  • Do not expect Justice will be served at any cost. (‘Justice’ is How far you can fight for your rights?) Actually, you have to decide on what you want and take it.
  • Never fight with the rich and the corrupt. (If you choose, you should have the power to destroy them) You can teach them a lesson easily by hurting the financial position.

From now onwards, I am going to use playfulness, a sense of humor, laughter. It is a big world and there are millions of people. Everybody is trying to get to something. It is very natural that sometimes people may get into each other’s ways — not that they want to, it is just the situation, it is accidental. To begin with……

All that I wanted is a quality education system. Very funny, then why the hell you were sitting and slogging in this University. You should have moved your butt. Yes, Of course I was ready to move out.  I told them, if you called me and said, ‘You better leave this place, I don’t like you’, I would not have questioned anything.  Not even Why? I would have said, ‘Thank You’ and ‘Bye-bye’.  That would have been the most happiest and easy thing for everyone. But why this attitude? You can not expect the decency or courtesy from everyone. They are like that………worst creatures in the world.  Come on….dear. You know about him.  When Ramjee, the Director of Dubai Campus clearly expressed his views so many times by saying, ‘He himself was flirting around women’s colleges in Chennai during his college days’ (so indecent to say these things to my wife) and never attended classes regularly, failed in the main (accounts paper) exam, so he does not want to enforce attendance and regularity, just pay fine (money) to write (buy the degree) examination.  I will expose more on what he said and what he did? later on….

And the most important thing, why the …. you came here to Dubai? Do social service to the community or uplift the higher education sector for expatriates. You too wanted to earn money. Then, who are you to question the moral and ethical values? Everything is a business. What is your problem if they want to sell their ……..? Stop it. I agree, I made a great mistake in my life by coming to Manipal.  I had everything in life, working for Asia’s Best Journalism Training School – Asian College of Journalism with high regard & honor from the students, colleagues and top media professionals from around the world.  I still remember, when I gave my resignation the Chairman, Mr. Sashi Kumar Menon told me, I don’t know why you want to move out but I can give you whatever hike you want to make you stay back. He even said, You should have told me before the start of the year. I would have dropped the New Media Specialization. I was so over-whelmed by the love and affection shown towards me. I told him. Sir, Please don’t joke. I am not an expert authority nor irreplaceable guy.  It is not the money for which I am leaving this place. I just want to see and experience life in abroad. I will always cherish and value the experience working with you all.  And Of course, I was earning much more than what my colleagues were earning from other colleges? I am always happy and content with whatever I get.  I always like to live a life to be envied not pitied. I offered my services and helped them till they got a replacement. Is this called fate? No……I don’t believe in destiny nor I regret for what happened to me now.  When the Criminals, Rapists,  Scoundrels and Corrupt people are getting respect and living with pride why should I who wants to live a simple and honest life should feel guilty and shame.

To be continued……..

Fool’s Play

Am I a fool?….. Of course, if you choose to fight with the corrupt people.  Then what else….can it be called. This is just a Fool’s Play.  I never expected that people will start to read my blog and comment.  Anyway, though I am not a HERO nor do I believe in heroism but sometimes you choose to be ONE to learn certain things in life in a hard way.  That’s why I am doing this now.

I trusted everybody and there is no reason for me to have mistrust on anyone. Since, we all are part of existence and each one of us have the right to live our life in a great way.  So, I do have the rights.  I do not believe in any of this so-called education system.  Anyone can do anything. No need to judge the capabilities or potential of a person through a system. Each one of them have their own talent and skill set to do a particular job. Why do we need to have a testing system to undermine an individual?  But, I never thought my qualification will become a threat to me.  Let us dissolve the entire system of affiliation and recognition. So that everybody feels happy and indeed justified.

What do we do with all those who are not able to qualify in a particular system of testing? What do we do with all those who fail in exams? Treat them as useless or Throw them in the ocean.  Do we need to destroy all those who disagree with us? I am surprised to know that being a qualified person is a Sin. Even to drive a car, you need to prove it by clearing a test. And everyone who lives in this part of the world knows it very well. How difficult it is to get a driving licence? It is impossible to get without attending the classes and clearing the test.  But, if it is in Manipal……..very easy.  The greatest joke of the year, “A qualified person is not eligible to work but all those who do not fulfill the required minimum eligibility criteria are in the job”. This is called effective use of man power.  Of course, they all are talented. Let me give the benefit of doubt. Why should I target my poor colleagues?  If given a chance, they do can prove but it is not needed. Why to take chances or risk? All that is required, ‘Recommendation’ – When you can get it no need for anything else.

My Recommendation:

To Whom So ever It may Concern

I hereby suggest, the Degree in Media & Communication being offered in Manipal University Dubai Campus is not valid and recognized since not even a single qualified and eligible person (as per the UGC regulations given below) teaches the courses and evaluates it.  The students and parents will be agitated to know that they are being cheated.

How can you justify this act? Can anyone practice Medicine or Law without getting the required qualification and permission? I really feel sorry for those who discriminated me. I never wanted anything like this to happen.  Since, I was also criticized and targeted in the past by some of my colleagues for not holding the required qualification.  They said and did everything that is possible to hurt me.  Yes, I do entered this profession through back door (with industry experience) but I challenged and proved my worth by clearing the UGC-NET examination.  When a teacher, who can not clear one simple examination, how can they hold moral responsibility to assess and teach the student’s? How do we justify the evaluation done by the unqualified person? Though, we all know Media & Communication studies have roots in all social sciences. Every one is welcome to contribute to the field of study. Mostly sociology, literature and political science dominated in the early stage. But, then after the evolution of Communication & Media Studies as a separate field, all those who aspire to become journalist are expected to undergo the respective courses. Like wise, to be a school teacher whether primary or secondary, you need to hold that particular (B.Ed) qualification.

In the same way, the College Professors do need to have certain qualification. This is not politics…..so let them prove their standards required for the teaching profession. For details refer to UGC website. It conducts NET examination twice in a year in the month of June and December. Let them prove their talent and worth by taking the exam – it’s an Open challenge. If not, make a way out to all those who are qualified and who deserve to be in the teaching profession.

In the future, at any point of time, the Supreme Court in India can deliver the verdict of de-recognition or cancellation of the affiliation status for non-compliance of the rules & regulations on the Public Interest Litigation case to be filed. There is a possibility and high chances but again nothing can be said so certain when money power play the game. So, let me make it very clear to all the students and parents on the status of the degrees being offered in the department. Since the Degrees offered in the Dubai Campus is not recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, U.A.E and it is only approved by KHDA to run a business with a licence to offer Indian Degrees recognized by UGC, Government of India.  So, you all have no guarantee but certainly, You all have the right to question the validity of the Degrees and about the qualifications of the faculties.

I am providing this information to all those who are interested to know the rights. As a consumer, we all need to know our rights. Anyone can become a victim of crime at a later stage. So, be alert and more important ‘Be Aware’ of the future. We all know about it. What is the Big Deal in it? Who gives a damn about it? But, I want to know what the Courts in India say on it?

The Director said, “I don’t like threats”, Yes, I do….. but as he tried to threaten me, now it is my turn. Let me put it straight and clear. What can you do if I campaign against your University for the rest of my life? Nothing…..You may not give a damn about me. You might think, I am Mad, I can not do anything. But you are wrong.

Newton’s Third Law, “For every action there is an equal (or unequal) and opposite reaction” – my modified version.

As it is rightly said, if you trust your intuition right now, your feeling of the ‘rightness’ of things, you cannot go wrong. Your actions may appear ‘foolish’ to others, or even to yourself, if you try to analyze them with the rational mind.

A fool is one who goes on trusting; a fool is one who goes on trusting against all his experience. You deceive him, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you; and you deceive him again, and he trusts you. Then you will say that he is a fool, he does not learn. His trust is tremendous; his trust is so pure that nobody can corrupt it.

I trusted him. There is no need to doubt but he deceived me. Still, I trusted him.  I was deceived again, for the second time.  But I had trust alone with me. So I trusted him.  One more time, I was deceived by him. So what? even now ‘I trust’ but not him. The people in this world will start taking advantage of you…let them. They are poor fellows. Even if you are cheated and deceived and robbed, let it happen, because that which is really yours cannot be robbed from you, that which is really yours nobody can steal from you.

When someone steals or robs your future, you have to allow your nature to take its own course. There is no easy way to success. Being a Fool is better than being a Slave.

For me, “The secret to happiness lies in listening to your heart consciously, alertly, attentively. And follow it by all means, and go wherever it takes you. Yes, sometimes it will take you into dangers — but then remember, those dangers are needed to make you ripe.”

Recommendation

To begin with, What do i need in my life? Nobody and nothing can answer the question but you yourself, and that is why you must know yourself.  To understand yourself is the beginning of wisdom. The Devil says, “To hell with your wisdom“.

I know, I know………I know but how to do a post-mortem of myself? If success alone can define you then it really sucks.  I want failure. Now, I clearly understand why people turn towards violence or even become terrorists? They do have a point to make and every thing can be justified.  No morals to be brought into it.  All that I wanted was my passport back and it would have ended right there.  But, the director Ramjee wanted the story to be continued. As he might have thought, without a tragedy in the end there is no thrill in the climax.  He never would have expected that things could turn into an ugly scene for him.

In one way, he is the one who has to be blamed and held responsible. As my esteemed colleagues (Joseph John and Sabir Haque) in the department who resigned and went out came back begging for the job, it would have given him the thought to make me suffer for a while and then surrender by coming back begging for the job. If not, who will give a great recommendation in the termination letter. Everyone will be surprised to know, why the director of an institution is going to act like that and take revenge? This is not an insane accusation or allegation on him by me.  Most of you might think or dismiss it just as a blabbering by someone who lost his job.  But, that is not the TRUTH.

Let me expose the facts and incidences so that everyone knows what happened and judge for themselves.  Actually, the director had a very good opportunity to end my services exactly One year before itself.  He might regret now for the opportunity missed. But what to do my dear ginger-eaten monkey, now it is too late. You don’t deserve anymore respect. It is always, “Give Respect and Take Respect”. How is that? You may ask the security to escort me out of the campus. You should have had the guts (‘balls’ as one of my colleague asked me during a fight) to find fault with my performance and taken disciplinary action against me while giving termination not with this kind of back-stabbing.

The earlier Chair person who tried to trouble and corner not only me but also others in the department (reason known to him alone) had the courtesy to tell me that the director is very upset with me and he might fire you anytime.  For which I said, i don’t give a damn about it. When he asked me to apologize to people who did grave mistakes and no action was taken (to be revealed soon) he went on to say, they are very influential and powerful people so you better learn to survive, do not fight with them. He even commented, “You are a crazy man” why do you want to commit suicide? Now, it looks like I have turned myself into a suicide mission. (MI – Ghost Protocol)

When I tried my level best to dilute the issue and explain everything that is possible for the management to handle the problem, Pro Vice-Chancellor Vinod Bhatt (the Producer) decided well before in his mind that I can be terminated and cremated.  If everything in life can be quantified in terms of money then by paying the Court Orders compensation will bring an end.  But, that is not going to happen since a dead man’s ghost is waiting to haunt Manipal forever and it is not going to spare anyone in the process from top to bottom.

A Glimpse of Future News Story:  The Chancellor of Manipal University, Dr. Ramdas Pai is busy in BUYING Padma Bhushan, Datuk and Golden Peacock Lifetime Achievement awards while his team busy in SELLING Degrees to the students.  How is it? When you think anything can be bought in this world, you end up paying a very high price. I am going to expose everything in the public domain and let the world decide on the brand image of Manipal group.  I may not succeed in this mission but enough damage will be done. People are always willing to buy and sell anything and everything.  So, why to trust anybody? In this process, they might even get benefited by the free marketing campaign for the degrees to be sold and free advertisement for the institution without incurring any cost.

No rules, No morals, No mercy will be shown in this War.  So, Why are you doing this? What do you want? How far can you go? I don’t know (liar)………Nothing but a huge Compensation (practically impossible)…………May be till I get another job (so damn True)………..All this is a pass-time.

Let me go ahead after the Judgment Day. To be continued…..

In Memory of……..students

“To be responsible is to be free. To give responsibility to somebody else is to be a prisoner.” If parents really love children, they will help them to be courageous–even courageous against them.  I started writing more about my issues and I try to find more comfort in it than anything. Our minds have an insane desire: we want only life and not death……..

This time, I am trying to remember (fond memories) one of my student for one reason at the moment. “I felt as if I was going to die”.  And I always have this desire of death not the fear of death! When we all hear the news of some one known to us is DEAD or in other words ‘no more’ can be seen in the present life, we all feel the person more than before.  A complete loss of words and fear to express.  What to say? and How to say it?  But here, I wish to share my thoughts and remember all those wonders life provides us.

I will remember this student for the rest of my life.  I have seen many students in my ten years of teaching experience but this girl has become special for a simple reason.  Not because she is dead now but for her innocence and calmness.   As i always say this while traveling, how fragile is our life? Within a fraction of a second, a mistake can take away our lives into eternity in an accident.  She might have gone with the wind but not without an impression.  Though she is a very smart girl, I have never seen her speaking out loud in the class or disturbing others and I can only remember her with two of her friends.  I am sure most of you will agree with me and those who know her as a soft-spoken person.  I was surprised when she tried to convince me with her boldness and childishness.  When the internal marks for the course papers in the fourth semester was declared, she came to me and asked about her marks and then she asked, Is there anyway I could improve it? But, I said it is too late.

For which She said, “I will bring my Dad, if you……(so child like and i see my five-year old daughter speaking to me)”, I was not able to come ……… I stopped her in between and said, I can only allow you to write the examination but you have to take care of the rest. As a teacher, I made her understand the responsibility one needs to have and how to take up the challenge and face the life. I was very happy when I saw her showing progress after realizing her mistake.  In the last semester, She was regular and did good work in-spite of all the drawbacks we had in terms of lab facility and software requirements. Every One of the students in my Visual Communication class brought their own laptop and worked hard to learn something or the other in the course.  I was so happy that all my students supported me when the management was blind on the issues and the department chair tried his level best to dismantle me and the specialization.

As far as Manipal is concerned I am also a dead person. We don’t look at the existential truth, we always cling to our own insane desire. Any desire that goes against nature is insane. And this desire is in almost every living creature, not only human beings. Even the trees are afraid of death, but trees can be forgiven. They are not conscious beings, they are only unconscious — fast asleep. If you understand death your life will become intense and total. But instead of understanding death, you become overwhelmed by it. Hence the heart starts trembling with fear. And fear is not going to help at all, fear is going to cloud your mind even more. Out of fear, there has never been any understanding. So when you feel fear, it is a tremendous opportunity to understand that life is momentary, it is ephemeral, it is made of the same stuff as dreams are made of.  I want to convey this to all my students for they are the future generations.  I can see so much fear in them to express which is a great danger.  I was overwhelmed by the students reaction to my problems but I am still deeply saddened by the way our life moves on.  I see a complete insensitivity to the issues by the management.

When a student is afraid to say or talk about their rights, What is the use of Education? or Why do we need to be educated? All those who spoke to me through mails, comments, phone and by voting clearly expressed the anonymity.  I wish we all have more courage and determination in life and make it worth living.  Thanks to all those who Voted and cleared my doubt of what I am doing now is right? It was about me and I alone voted with the doubt of ‘Not Sure’ in the results and all those who voted are saying ‘Yes’, I am right by going to the Court.

“………but at this point we can’t do anything, many of us just want a Degree and hope that in the future we will experience education and knowledge in a much much better way”.  This is a great shame for the University alone when students are going to say we just need the degrees being sold.

In the same way, What will be the outcome of my Court Case? I would like to make an in-depth analysis and post-mortem of me and present a clear-cut solution to the crisis to all those involved in the next post. Paradise is not somewhere else. It is within you. And it is not in some other time, after death. It is in you right now.

Re-Birth – Vote for me!

Life is purposeless! And in this we all try to find a purpose and meaning. I am completely amazed and wondering on its beauty.  I am not only surprised but also puzzled in one way to know how interesting it is for others to read some bodies personal blog (diary).  Yes, human mind is a peculiar thing to understand. Few statistical information about my blog. After the present crisis in my work place, I started writing more about my experiences, thoughts and views.  Now, I can see more people are visiting (though I am not ready to accept every other person who visits are interested in reading the stories) my blog. In the last one month or so more than 640 unique visitors with 144 persons the highest in a single day (a whooping 900% increase) wherein I was not having more than four or five visitors before. Is this shows the interest of people in me or in my problem? Any way, few more interesting facts to be shared in the next post.
